September 2021 – AACE recently published its 100th Recommended Practice (RP). Considering that between AACE’s inception in 1956 through 1996 there were only seven RPs, this is a major milestone for the association. A remarkable 455 AACE members and industry professionals contributed to building this body of knowledge through their volunteer service. They helped elevate the profession.
RPs and the TCM Framework help the user understand and develop cost engineering practices and processes that are in alignment with industry consensus. All RPs undergo a rigorous peer-review process, including a public review. (More information about RPs)
Of the 455 volunteer RP contributors over the years, below are the 10 individuals with the greatest number of contributions. These individuals are recognizable not only as RP contributors, but as frequent authors, presenters, and renowned experts in the cost engineering community.
