TCM Excellence Award 01
 

The TCM Excellence Award is given to members in recognition of their contributions to AACE through a technical subcommittee or SIG, or by a member at large, who has been instrumental in the development of technical products such as recommended practices, professional practice guides, Cost Engineers' Notebook, or other technical writings directed to the advancement of the precepts of total cost management.  Membership in AACE is required.

Larry R. Dysert, CCP CEP DRMP FAACE Hon. Life – Larry became a member of AACE in 1990, and he earned the designation as a Certified Cost Professional (CCP) in 1995. He was a member of the task forces that developed both the Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) and Decision and Risk Management Professional (DRMP) certifications, and, because of his work, was grandfathered into both designations in 2008 and 2013, respectively. Larry has been a member of the AACE Technical Board since its founding and has twice served as its chair (2000-2003; 2005-2016). He also represented the Technical Board as Vice President-Technical on the AACE Board of Directors (2016-2020). He has been a frequent Conference & Expo author and presenter as well as a webinar presenter and host. Larry is the Primary Contributor to 15 AACE Recommended Practices, and a contributing author to over 35 additional RPs. He is a Managing Partner at Conquest Consulting Group and a Senior Principal with Long International. Larry has previously been recognized by AACE with the TCM Excellence Award (2001), AACE Fellow (2007), Honorary Life Member (2009), and Award of Merit (2015).
