Seminar Selection Criteria

Proposals are Viewed on the Following Individual Seminar Selection Criteria:  

Content:
• Benefits professional needs of participants
• Useful and easily applicable to work place
• Leading-edge in TCM profession
• Represents a sound and credible curriculum
• Is of interest to potential students

Course Design:
• Based on clearly written learning objectives
• Clearly written lesson plan
• Incorporates good practices for adult education

Instructor:
• Has successfully presented to audiences of TCM professionals
• Can assess and adapt to various knowledge levels and needs of participants
• Possesses interpersonal and interactive instructional skills
• Has ability to build rapport with participants


Important Notices and Compensation:

• Members of the AACE International Education Board will review the seminar proposals. Seminars are selected based on high quality and an effort to provide a balanced seminar program consistent with the overall AACE International goals and objectives.
• Seminar presentations are expected to be commercial free. Limited background information on the instructor’s affiliation is acceptable. Detailed product information should be avoided unless necessary for the seminar.
• A copy of your slide presentation/handout will be distributed as protected Adobe PDF files. Text and graphics that are copyright protected (example: Dilbert cartoons, previously published charts/graphs, etc.) are not acceptable. Submission of your seminar proposal serves as your implicit agreement and consent to distribute your handouts to attendees.
• Presentations and handouts must be submitted to the Manager, Education no later than 2 weeks prior to the date of the seminar.
