Become a Volunteer Content Developer (Item Writing & Review)

Contribute to the integrity of our certification program and earn valuable recertification credits by joining the Content Development Subcommittee. Follow the steps below to apply:

1. Active Certification
   You must hold an active certification in the program you are evaluating.
   
2. Sign Confidentiality & Conflict of Interest Statement
   All prospective members are required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement and a Conflict of Interest Statement prior to starting.
   
3. Commit to Initial and Ongoing Training
   Approved applicants must attend an initial item writing workshop to master the creation of defensible questions and effective distractors. Regular refresher workshops will ensure you stay current with industry best practices.
   
4. Participate in Regular Development Meetings
   Subcommittee members must commit to attending regularly scheduled content development meetings to ensure our certification content consistently meets or exceeds current industry needs.
