2020 Lifetime Achievement Award

AACE International is honored to be able to recognize all award winners at this year’s Conference & Expo.  It is through such outstanding ability, service, and dedication displayed by our members that AACE International can continue to be the strong organization that it is.  Our thanks go to you for the hard work, long hours, heartfelt involvement, and commitment to excellence that these awards symbolize.  It is our great pleasure to share these awards with you and to acknowledge everything you have given to AACE.  Congratulations!

AACE is pleased to recognize the following award winner:

Harry W. Jarnagan, PE CCP FAACE Hon. Life – LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Lifetime Achievement Award: The Lifetime Achievement Award is given to individuals who have served the Association on multiple occasions in a variety of capacities. Candidates shall have made significant and specific contributions to the growth and enhancement of the cost engineering professional and total cost management. Minimum requirements are: a.) Membership in AACE International for twenty (20) years, preferably twenty five (25) years; b.) previous service to AACE as a member of the Board of Directors or as an active member of one or more Associate Board; c.) previously been recognized having received two or more of the following: Award of Merit, Brian D. Dunfield Educational Service Award, Keane Distinguished Service to an AACE Section Award, Honorary Life Membership, O.T. Zimmerman Founder’s Award, or the TCM Excellence Award; and d.) must be a Fellow of AACE. It is the highest award AACE bestows on an individual. Membership in AACE is required.

Jarnagan_HarryHarry W. Jarnagan, PE CCP FAACE Hon. Life - Harry joined the AACE in 1985. He was elected and served in a variety of AACE Board of Directors leadership positions including as Director-Region 6 (1996-1998), Vice President-Finance (1998-200), President-Elect (2000-2001), AACE International President (2001-2002), and Past President (2002-2003). He has been a frequent presenter/author at AACE Conference & Expos. Harry has served on both AACE’s Certification and Education Boards, including chair of both associate boards. He has previously been recognized by the Association as an AACE International Fellow (2005), the Award of Merit (2006), and Honorary Life Membership (2015). Harry is a Vice President at Mott MacDonald.


*As a result of the 2020 Conference & Expo being held virtually, the 2020 award recipients will receive their trophies at the 2021 Conference & Expo in Boston.
