AACE Sections are recognized annually for their performance as a section based on the Section Scorecard Reports that are submitted on a quarterly basis to the section's Regional Director. If a section does not meet the Section Minimum Standards, they are ineligible for Section Awards.
The scoring changed slightly this year. The new criteria is as follows:
- Platinum Award winners score 2000+ points
- Gold Award winners score 1000-1999 points
- Silver Award winners score 700-999 points
- Bronze Award winners score 400-699 points.
